Mesa

Currently ranked as the 37th largest and fastest growing city in the United States, Mesa is a bustling city and suburb of Phoenix, Arizona. Mesa is the third largest city in Arizona, being smaller than Phoenix and Tucson. Mesa has a population of about 461,000 residents, and is actually described more as a “bedroom community.” Neighborhoods throughout Mesa are diverse and offer all ranges of houses, from small and affordable to custom and luxurious homes. The Superstition Springs Center is a great shopping mall that also features an outdoor amphitheater and fountain, as well as anchor stores such as Dillard’s, JC Penny, Macy’s, and Sears. Fiesta Mall, which is a slightly older and smaller shopping center is also located in Mesa, and there have been plans to expand the mall. Mesa Riverview is a new outdoor retail center that will feature major stores such as Wal-Mart and Home Depot, as well as a movie theater, restaurants, and specialty stores. Other attractions that can be found in this amazing city include the Mesa Arts Center, Mesa Arizona Temple, Mesa Historical Society and Museum, and the Golfland/Sunsplash waterpark.
